FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method comprises preliminary preparation of article surface, placing article and current conduction titanium material in processing zone, creating vacuum in said zone, feeding negative potential, separately, to article and current conducting material, firing arc on current conducting material that burns in vapors of said material to produce plasma, bombarding, cleaning and diffusing article surface and accumulating ions of current conducting material on article surface at article surface temperature below that strength loss in article material to produce layer. Said layer of current conducting material consists of pure titanium, 5-10 mcm-thick. Article is subjected to plasma-electrolytic treatment in electrolyte containing in g/l: phosphoric acid - 15-25, sulphuric acid - 365-385, sodium molybdate - 2.5-12.0, sedum tungstate - 3.5-16.5, and zirconium sulphate - 35-50 at current density of 5-50 A/dm2 and voltage of 180-250 V.
EFFECT: higher resistance against holt-salt corrosion and high-temperature oxidation.
