FIELD: computer network.
SUBSTANCE: network addresses transmission gateway provides for normal transmission of IP-datagrams coming from local network using local IP-addresses, into outer network, but halts transmission of service address (port) of source, when port is reserved from some certain protocol like ISAKMP with connection confirmation, which is a portion of model of IPSec protocol. Exchanges of ISAKMP protocols require both relaying and target computers to use same service address (port). By providing network interface which does not relay service address (port) of source, this gateway allows initiation and maintenance of protected encoded transmissions with use of IPsec protocol between local network using local IP-addresses and servers in Internet.
EFFECT: higher efficiency.
