FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: method involves placing injured spleen into pneumatic system representing itself as latex balloon. The balloon is shaped as the spleen and repeats its outlines and mean sizes inside. The balloon has oval opening on the internal side matching splenic gates and six equidistant notches and openings for brining ligatures through for fixing the spleen in the balloon.
EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness in supporting pressure by pumping in air to 60 mm of Mercury column.
