SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for preparing medicinal formulations of bacteriophages. Pharmaceutical composition contains bacteriophages with a filling agent as dosed medicinal formulations and it contains additionally water-soluble polymers and sugars. Derivatives of cellulose, low- or mean-molecular polyvinylpyrrolidones, or polyethylene glycols with molecular mass 4 000-6 000 Da, or sodium alginate are used as water-soluble polymers; lactose and/or mannitol is used as sugars; carboxymethylcellulose sodium salt or hydroxypropylmethylcellulose, or hydroxypropylcellulose are used as derivatives of cellulose. Pharmaceutical composition contains substances in the following ratio of components, wt.-%: bacteriophages with titer by Appelman, 10^-4, not less; calcium carbonate, 70.0-85.0; lactose and/or mannitol, 5.0-15.0; carboxymethylcellulose sodium salt, 0.1-10.0; microcrystalline cellulose, 2.0-8.0; carboxymethyl starch, 1.0-4.0; magnesium or calcium stearate, 0.25-1.0. Pharmaceutical composition can be made as tablet with mass 0.1 g with gastric-resistance coating. Invention claims a method for preparing the indicated composition wherein synthetic water-soluble polymers are added to phagolysate before drying additionally, and sugars are added to a filling agent or phagolysate and drying is carried out under vacuum up to humidity value 1-2%.
