FIELD: development and application of systems of preparation and purification of water.
SUBSTANCE: the invention is dealt with the field of development and application of systems for preparation and purification of water, in particular, with the methods of production of a filtering cartridge for water purification and treating and may be used for creation of up-to date material and a technical base for production of systems of water purification and water preparation. The method provides for formation a ring-type thermal seam between a cover and a body of a cartridge. The cover and the body are made in the form of a cylinder and subjected to compression by two ring-type surfaces (one of which is acoustically connected with a source of ultrasonic oscillations) till the contacting surfaces of the cover and the cylinder touch each other. Then the ultrasonic oscillations of a frequency of 22-44 kHz range with amplitude of 10-100 microns is applied to the surface of the cover, that is opposite to the surface subjected to connection. The ultrasonic action is applied till the material of the cover and the cylinder in the zone of their contact transfers into a viscoplastic state. Then compression of the connected surfaces is increased and they register a parameter of the ultrasonic action characterizing a degree of the material transfer into the viscoplastic state. According to the value of this parameter the time necessary for formation of a pressure-tight seam is determined. Then the ultrasonic action is removed and the being connected surfaces are kept without decrease of compression till the seam stabilization. The ring-type surface acoustically not connected to the source of the ultrasonic oscillations is removed from the body and the ultrasonic action is applied to the cartridge till the moment of its separation from the surface acoustically connected with the source of ultrasonic oscillations. The invention ensures a pressure-tight connection of the cover with the body of the cartridge.
EFFECT: the invention ensures a pressure-tight connection of the cover with the body of the cartridge.
