FIELD: metallurgy, in particular alloy for deoxidation and doping of steel and cast iron.
SUBSTANCE: claimed method includes simultaneous smelting of steel batch and aluminum recrement in electric furnace at 900-14000C in carbon-containing reduced medium. Steel junk and/or iron dross with iron oxide content ≥50 mass % is used as the batch, and aluminum content in aluminum recrement is ≥10 mass %. Invention affords the ability to simplify ferroaluminium production.
EFFECT: alloy with more precise chemical composition; decreased aluminum melting loss up to 1-2 %.
