FIELD: drying equipment for bulk materials, used in production of cooked-and-dried groats and vegetables.

SUBSTANCE: drier has casing with charging hopper and discharge device, and belt conveyor with drive. Lower part of casing is made in the form of semi-cylinder. Slots are formed at inner side of casing end walls. Edges of conveyor flexible belt are inserted into said slots. Conveyor belt equipped with rectangular opening is movable along closed contour. Heat carrier is supplied through sectioned branch pipe mounted in end wall of casing. Grids are positioned at heat carrier supply and discharge pipe junction sites.

EFFECT: increased efficiency of drying process owing to usage of dense bulk layer of product providing uniform drying quality and improved quality of ready product.
