FIELD: drying technology; drying loose materials such as dry vegetables, potato.

SUBSTANCE: proposed drier has flexible perforated belt, drive, conveyer, body with loading bin and unloading unit. Novelty of invention consists in availability of longitudinal slots on frontal sides of drier body for reciprocating motion of "traveling wave" mechanism; template made over closed contour is secured above said slots; "traveling wave" mechanism consists of two similar supports connected by means of shaft; each support includes rectangular hub with three struts; left-hand and right-hand struts are adjustable in length and angle of inclination and central strut consists of sleeve where spring is mounted; this spring is engageable with guide provided with axle with bearing at the end; end of said axle moves over template; "traveling wave" mechanism is set in motion from reversible electric motor.

EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of drying process due to use of combined hydrodynamic modes of treatment of product and intensification of process.
