FIELD: drying technology; drying various vegetables, potato, etc.

SUBSTANCE: proposed drier has housing with bin and unloading unit, conveyer, flexible perforated tape, "traveling wave" forming mechanism and drive. Novelty of invention consists in construction of "traveling wave" forming mechanism which consists of two similar frames which are interconnected by means of axles. Each frame has three bearing struts; left-hand and right-hand struts are adjustable in height and pitch; central strut has slot inside it over which baring unit moves in vertical plane; this bearing unit has axle whose one end is provided with bearing engageable with flexible perforated tape and other end moves over master form made in closed loop; "traveling wave" forming mechanism performs reciprocating motion in longitudinal slots made in side walls of drier; it is set in motion by means of reversible electric motor.

EFFECT: enhanced efficiency due to employment of combined hydrodynamic modes of treatment of product.
