SUBSTANCE: method for bulk stock drying includes multiple product processing interchange of boiling and dense layers with changing duration ratio of these stages during the process. The invention novelty consists in that the process of drying is carried out in three interchange stages. On the first stage, the product is placed in a horizontal dense layer purged by coolant. On the second stage, the product is placed in boiling and dense layer and moves along the trajectory close to "traveling wave". On the crest of the "traveling wave", a local boil area is created, and between them, in depressions of "traveling wave", a bulk dense layer is created. On the third stage, the drying process is carried out in a dense mixing layer in the "traveling wave" gap, without purging by coolant. The unit for drying bulk products contains a shell with a flexible tape carrier, a device for coolant supply and removal, a loading device and an unloading tray. The novelty consists in that the shell sidewalls at the top and bottom are furnished with horizontal parallel slots. At the upper slots, perforated guide paths capable of symmetric movements are installed to fix the position of the tape. The lower slots incorporates pneumatic cylinders having rollers and capable of moving on them. The rollers are connected in pairs by the axles and contact with the bottom surface of a perforated flexible tape.

EFFECT: higher quality of final product and intensified drying process.
