FIELD: medicine, ophthalmosurgery.
SUBSTANCE: one should detect brightness monocular acuity of each eye at three levels of illumination imitating different conditions of vision during cloudy day, sunny day and bright sunny day. Then one should detect binocular acuity under the same conditions of illumination to compare the results obtained and if binocular acuity at any level of illumination is below monocular acuity of operated eye the operation is considered to be indicated for.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of detection.
