FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: method involves biomicroscopically testing Purkinje reflex from anterior corneal surface and anterior artificial eye lens surface. The Purkinje reflex is marked on the cornea from anterior corneal surface in lying patient position and then, from the corneal mark to light reflex taking into account the number of measurement scale grid ticks from the anterior artificial eye lens surface in sitting patient position. Artificial lens decentering meridian is to be determined by means of measurement ocular grid rotatable about an axis coinciding with optical axis of the ocular placed into optical system of biomicroscope. The number of dial divisions on measurement grid between the optic reflexes from the anterior corneal surface and from anterior artificial eye lens surface, respectively is interpreted in terms of artificial eye lens decentering degree.
EFFECT: high accuracy of measurements.
