FIELD: transport engineering; testing facilities.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to stands for diagnosing condition of brakes of road vehicles, including those furnished with antilock systems. Proposed device contains stationary platform including two similar sections with fitted-on drive and support rollers. Rollers are connected by chain drive. Drive rollers are connected with flywheel rotated by drive used to bring the device to initial braking speed conditions. Device is furnished with units for measuring brake force on each wheel of vehicle and follow-up rollers installed on stationary platform.
EFFECT: improved reliability and quality of diagnosing of vehicle brake systems owing to bringing diagnosing test conditions to real braking conditions by increasing accuracy of measurements of brake force.
