SUBSTANCE: invention relates to automotive industry, namely, to diagnostics of braking systems. Proposed method comprises setting vehicle onto support rollers, centering vehicle axles, revolving support rollers to accelerate and brake the wheels, measuring and taking readings, simulating road cover with selected adhesion factor by means of geared motors and frequency-controlled drives, providing the driver with monitor, and accurately maintaining and reproducing preset test conditions. Support rollers are driven be geared motors controlled by frequency-controlled drive.

EFFECT: ease of braking system and antilock system tests.
