FIELD: mechanical engineering; automotive industry.
SUBSTANCE: proposed test stand contains support rollers and four flywheels arranged over perimeter of stand made for setting into operation by car under testing. Said test stand contains additionally devices for measuring torque proportional to brake forces on car wheels, devices for measuring angular velocity of support rollers and follow-up rollers mounted on shafts of support rollers. Stand is made with possibility of changing distance between front and rear platforms. Each sections of stand flywheel corresponding to wheel under testing. Flywheels are mechanically coupled by means of V-belt drives and adjusting shaft installed is guides between pairs of sections and are rigidly coupled with corresponding support rollers engaging with car wheels. Devices for measuring torque proportional to brake forces on car wheels and installed on shafts of supports rollers are placed between supports rollers and corresponding flywheels.
EFFECT: improved quality of determination of diagnostic parameter of different brake systems of car, including those with antilock system, possibility of diagnosing cars of different wheelbase and wide range of road clearances.
