SUBSTANCE: invention relates to brake acting onto wheel rim, with brake shoes installed on levers turnable relative to different axles. Proposed brake 12 is designed for fastening in form of integral unit with possibility of adjustment of its position relative to frame by means of connecting elements 18, 20b. Fixing element 130 and rigidity element 132 are U-shaped, being connected to form integral unit by means of hinged pins 35b. Lower ends 54b of each pair of brake levers 40b are installed on said hinged pins 35b. With brakes applied, brake levers 40b with brake shoes 44b can move between fixing element 130 and rigidity element 132.
EFFECT: provision of brake of rigid design with sufficiently great brake force, and possibility of mounting on different frames.
