FIELD: transport engineering; bicycles.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to brakes acting onto wheel rim, with brake shoes installed on levers turnable relative to different axles. Proposed brake is designed for fastening as integral unit with possibility of adjustment of its position relative to frame by means of hole 138. Fixing element 130 and rigidity element 132 are U-shaped, being connected to form integral unit by means of connecting element 133 placed in between. All elements 130, 132, 133 are made of one blank as integral unit.
EFFECT: provision of rigid and light construction of brake with sufficiently brake force, possibility of mounting on different frames.
