FIELD: iron metallurgy, in particular method for AOD process with powder reagents.
SUBSTANCE: claimed wire contains (mass %) 30-49 of steel shell and 51-70 of powder filler comprising (mass %) calcium 25-45 and iron powder 55-75. Wire is useful for production of steel with low content of aluminum and silicium (≤,0.005 %).
EFFECT: increased amount of utilized calcium, total spheroidization of nonmetal constituents, improved casting and mechanical properties.
