FIELD: powder metallurgy, in particular coating obtained by electroarc sintering of metal powder.
SUBSTANCE: copper powder layer with thickness of 1.5-2.5 mm containing 15-23 mass % of hardening particles is coated on compact metal substrate. Layer is compacted in cool state by using conductive tool. Further copper powder layer with thickness of 100-200 mum is coated and compacted by the same method. Further layer from mixture of carbon and alumina powders is coated with simultaneous pressing under 5-10 MPa and sintering by passing alternate current with density of 3.5-14.5 A/mm2 through the layers.
EFFECT: multilateral coating of improved quality.
