FIELD: means for converting fast-varying and surge pressure into electric signal; primary flow velocity transducers of vortex flowmeters for water, gas, steam, and other homogeneous media.
SUBSTANCE: proposed transducer has case 4 that can be made in the form of hollow cylinder or, as an alternative, hollow rectangular parallelepiped. Transducer has piezoid incorporating base and four electrodes. Piezoid base of first design alternate of transducer is round in shape and electrodes are shaped as round base half as viewed from top. Piezoid base of transducer second design alternate is rectangular and electrodes are shaped as f rectangular base half, as viewed from top. Electrodes are electrically insulated and disposed in opposition on different ends of base 5. Electrodes disposed on different ends of base are paired and crosswise interconnected. Case 4 has two covers 11 and 12. Cover 11 is attached to case 4 and is made in the form of round or rectangular thrust depending on design alternate of transducer. Cover 12 in the form of section half of case 4, that is in the form of circle half in first design alternate of transducer and in the form of section half of rectangular parallelepiped in second design alternate. Transducer diaphragm 13 is installed in case 4 on cover 12 end. Piezoid is disposed between diaphragm 13 and cover 11. Space between diaphragm 12 and piezoid and that between cover 11 and piezoid are minimal and filled with dielectric binding material 14. Electrode boundaries are disposed opposite each other and opposite edge of cover 12. Open part of diaphragm 13 is disposed opposite one of electrodes. Case 4 is placed in tube in such a way that open part of diaphragm 13 disposed in opening 15 is pointing into flow path.
EFFECT: enhanced vibration resistance and thermal stability.
