FIELD: environment control.
SUBSTANCE: method includes sampling of free air, soil, ground, surface, ground and underground waters, atmospheric precipitation, dry fall-outs, snow cover, bottom deposits and vegetation. Selected samples are prepared for testing, quantitative characteristics of radiation parameters are defined and processed by means of finding number of samples which quantitative values are higher or lower than minimal registered threshold values. Result of measurements is recorded into analytical database. Intermediate average value, standard deviation and variation factor are calculated by taking samples with values being higher than minimal registered threshold value. To reduce error of determination of true parameters of radiation characteristic distribution the restored values of average, standard deviation and variation factor are calculated according to formulas. Radiation environment of tested region is found from restored values of average and standard deviation.
EFFECT: improved truth of estimation of radioecological condition; reduced total time of operation of measurement equipment.
