FIELD: radio ecological monitoring services. SUBSTANCE: procedure includes sampling of soil, preparation of samples, measurement of radiation parameters of samples of soil, entering of measurement data into analytical data base and processing of measurement results. Prior to taking soil samples samples of soil from sites representatively characterizing examined territory in radio geochemical respect are taken, taken samples are divided into components, radiation parameters of these components and of their mixtures in various proportions are measured and reliable interval of radiation parameter is calculated by measurement results with due account of error in sample preparation and measurement error. Thereupon radiation parameters of samples of soil are measured. Examined soil is related to background or anomalous soil by measurement results and determined soil composition by comparison with calculated reliable intervals, measurement data are entered into analytical data base and measurement results are processed. EFFECT: increased reliability of finding radiation background of soils and ground when conducting radio ecological monitoring of industrial region. 2 dwg, 5 tbl
