SUBSTANCE: method involves determining somatic type. Systolic arterial blood pressure and diastolic arterial blood pressure are measured. Mean systolic and diastolic arterial blood pressure is calculated on the basis of three visits with 10-14 days long pauses. The measured systolic and diastolic arterial blood pressure values are compared to table values corresponding to 90 and 95 percentile of a distribution built for microsomatic and macrosomatic types. Mean systolic and diastolic arterial blood pressure values corresponding to 90-94 percentile built for microsomatic and macrosomatic types, arterial blood pressure level is estimated as high. Mean systolic and diastolic arterial blood pressure values corresponding to 95 and higher percentile, arterial hypertension is to be diagnosed.
