FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, specifically to functional diagnostics. Blood pressure (BP) is measured in a child. Then, from value of systolic blood pressure (SBP), which should be below 95th percentile for age and sex, subtract value of diastolic blood pressure (DBP). Result is compared with reference values based on percentile table of pulse blood pressure. For PAD above 90th percentile presence of early signs of remodelling of vascular wall is diagnosed.
EFFECT: method enables to detect preclinical markers of developing cardiovascular pathology in children.
