FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, particularly to paediatrics, paediatric cardiology, and can be used for early diagnosis of endothelial dysfunction in children with arterial hypertension. Thickness of the intima-media complex of the common carotid artery (TIM CCA) is measured by ultrasonic duplex scanning of neck vessels. Concentration levels of transforming growth factor (TGF-β) and endothelin-1 (ET-1) in blood serum. Coefficient of endothelium-dependent vasodilation (EDVD) is measured as the ratio of the difference in the diameter of the vessels before and after the occlusion to the diameter of rest. At TGF-β above 400 pg/ml, ET-1 more than 0.5 pg/ml, EDVD more than 10% and TIM of CCA more than 0.8 mm, development of endothelial dysfunction is diagnosed.

EFFECT: method enables to provide timely selection of the most suitable therapeutic approach individually for each patient by means of diagnostics at an early stage of endothelial dysfunction development by assessing a set of the most significant parameters.
