FIELD: medical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: device has mandrin and is designed as tube having end portion bent at an angle of 90° proximal relative to patient and having outlet opening facing the bending area. An additional opening sized 0.3-0.5 mm is available on lateral needle surface opposite to the outlet opening.
EFFECT: high accuracy in determining the moment the needle outlet opening enters the epidural space.
