FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: method involves applying laser radiation delivered to adenoids via light guide with specific power enough for carrying out tissue photodestruction and coagulation. The light guide is introduced through nasal inlet into supporting connective tissue zone of the adenoids and moved inside along the whole extent occupied by the adenoids in parallel to rhinopharyngeal fornix in sagittal plane forming in this way hollow canal. Radiation is applied which wavelength is taken from bandwidth of 0.94-1.0 mcm. When needed, the operation is repeated in new point so that distance separating canal opening centers is not to be less than 3mm.
EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness of treatment; reduced blood losses; excluded cicatricial obliteration; retained pharyngeal tonsil.
