FIELD: medicine, pediatrics.
SUBSTANCE: it is necessary to fulfill curative course with symptomatic preparations due to applying nasal drops that contain vasoconstrictor preparations intranasally and, additionally, directly onto pharyngeal tonsil endonasally one should affect with 0.3%-aqueous polyoxidonium solution, moreover, daily dosage should be prescribed at 0.15 mg polyoxidonium/kg patient's body weight. The present innovation favors accelerated nasopharyngeal sanitation: decreased pathogenic flora, local inflammatory reaction and improved inspecific resistance due to combined application of immunomodulator - polyoxidonium and vasoconstrictor preparations.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of therapy.
