FIELD: production of plastic hollow profiles filled with foam.
SUBSTANCE: the invention presents an extrusion device for production of plastic hollow profiles filled with a foam, cross-section of which has at least one hollow cross-sectional section. The device contains an extruder for preparation and feeding of a polymeric melt, a profile head connected to the extruder and at least one spear-head frothing tool. The profile head contains a cross-sectional nozzle with at least one cross-sectional section. The spear-head frothing tool is located at least partially inside a ring channel ending on the cross-sectional nozzle for a melt and coaxially to the direction of removal of a plastic hollow structure coming out of the cross-sectional nozzle. The cross-sectional head is made in the form of a short gun with a handle and a trunk. The handle has a channel for a melt feeding, that is connected to the extruder outlet point for a melt discharge and ends in a radial distributing channel for the melt enveloping a guiding channel for the spear-head frothing tool. The trunk has a ring channel for the melt passing from the radial distributing channel for the melt to the profile nozzle, and a guiding channel for the spear-head frothing tool passing continuously from an inlet opening for the spear-head frothing tool to the profile nozzle. The guiding axis of the spear-head frothing tool and the guiding axis of the plastic hollow profile in the cooling-calibrating device are inclined downwards in respect to a horizontal in direction of removal at an angleα= 1-10°. There is also a description of a method for production of profiles and plastic hollow profiles produced in compliance with it. The invention ensures an economic and uninterrupted extrusion of plastic hollow profiles.
EFFECT: the invention ensures an economic and uninterrupted extrusion of plastic hollow profiles.
