FIELD: petroleum chemistry, chemical technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for isolation of 1,2-dichloroethane. Method involves isolation of 1,2-dichloroethane from vat residue in isolation of vinyl chloride prepared by thermal or thermocatalytic cracking of 1,2-dichloroethane by distillation at temperature in vat 90-1350C in the presence of additive. Mixture of liquid chloroparaffins with density 0.98-1.02 g/cm3 in its ratio to vat residue = (1-3):100 is used as additive. Method provides enhancing degree in isolation of dichloroethane and reducing coke formation.
EFFECT: improved isolation method.
