FIELD: oil and gas extractive industry.
SUBSTANCE: method includes feeding product of well in form of gas-liquid mixture to calibrated hermetic measuring tank through inlet line and forcing thereof into outlet line by means of separator piston during its reciprocal movement under pressure from gas-liquid mixture coming from opposite side s of measuring tank, fixing of position of separating piston by sensors and transfer of signal to control block during its approach to one of measuring tank ends, calculation of number of liquid phase portions after multiple continuous cycles and calculation of volume and mass thereof, separately for water and oil. Before start of operation measuring tank is mounted on eccentric relatively to its own axis, horizontally placed hollow axis, with possible full rotation. After displacing mass center of measuring tank, it is mounted on weight sensor for recording total mass of tank with piston and value of gas-liquid mixture inside, and transferring thereof to memory of control block in form of electric signal. Feeding of mixture to tank and its outlet is performed through ends by eccentrically mounted axis. Before feeding mixture to tank it is previously let through a filter. Measuring operations are performed without prior separation of gas in the tank. Inner surfaces of tank are previously covered by compound preventing paraffin sedimentation. Mass of tank with piston is inputted into control block before start of operation as well as its volume and density of oil and water, as known constants for given oil deposit, including algorithm for calculation of well debit, separately for oil and water. As separation piston a resilient ball is used made of elastic material. For wells with significant debit, for example, from 50 to 100 tons and more per day measuring tank is selected to be U-shaped or torus-shaped.
EFFECT: higher reliability, higher precision, lower costs.
