FIELD: medicine, ophthalmology.
SUBSTANCE: one should perform coagulation with argon laser along the whole perimeter of iris' radical area. Radiation power should be chosen so that coagulants are of golden-brown color. Coagulants should be located tightly to each other so that diameter of coagulates to be 200 mcm, time for exposure - 0.1 sec. About 4-5 d after coagulation one should perform corneal paracentesis through which one should introduce indocyanine green to dye newly formed basal membrane. After dyeing membrane should be removed from iris surface and from trabecular surface with the help of pincers. Anterior chamber should be washed with physiological solution till complete washing the residues of indocyanine green. Additionally, before removing the membrane, one should perform about 1-2 corneal paracenteses. The innovation provides stable compensation of ophthalmotonicity and the absence of neovascularized iris.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of therapy.
