FIELD: agricultural engineering, in particular, equipment for feeding machines.
SUBSTANCE: grinder has conveyor with catches and drive. Set of parallel knives is mounted above conveyor, said knives being inclined toward conveyor surface for defining of wedge in horizontal plane. Knives are fixed on carcass. Carcass top plate is inclined in direction of discharge of ground material and is positioned for rotation relative to its front face and fixing in operating position by means of safety device. Rear side poles of carcass are equipped with stops for setting of top plate rear part. Knives are made double-armed, with openings between arms and in upper part of knives and are mounted on carcass for alteration of inclination angle with respect to conveyor surface. Altering of knives inclination angle depending on kind of product to be ground provides for reduction of power consumed for grinding process. Positioning of top plate rear part on pin and fixation of its rear part in operating position by means of safety device enables lifting of plate with knives and provides free space for passage of foreign matter upon operation of safety device.
EFFECT: reduced power consumption and enhanced reliability in operation.
