SUBSTANCE: invention relates to class of metallocene compounds of the general formula (I) wherein Y means fragment of the formula (II) wherein A means sulfur or selenium atom; B means carbon atom; D means carbon atom; R¹, R², R³, R⁴ and R⁵ mean hydrogen atom or hydrocarbon groups; Z is taken among fragment of the formula (II) and fragment of the formula (III) wherein R⁶, R⁷, R⁸ and R⁹ mean hydrogen atom or hydrocarbon groups; L means bivalent bridge group; M means zirconium atom; X means halogen atom; p = 2. Above described metallocenes are useful especially for polymerization of propylene.
