FIELD: control-measuring equipment.
SUBSTANCE: method includes first and second measurement cycles performed at different time. I each cycle ultrasound pulses are emitted at angle different from straight to environments separation border through reservoir wall in direction of opposite wall. Radiation of ultrasound pulses is performed in one point on outer surface of reservoir wall at different angles α1 and α2 to environments separation border, where α 1≠α 2. Ultrasound pulses reflected from surface are received. Intervals t1,2 between ultrasound pulses emitting and reflected pulses receiving moments are determined. Level height H is determined from appropriate formula.
