FIELD: hydro acoustics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to hydroacoustics, in particular to acoustic methods and instruments for measuring and recording parameters of sea waves by pulse echolocation with a poly-harmonic ultrasonic signal emitted from the bottom to the water-air interface. Invention can be used for measurement of sea disturbance parameters (height, period, length and direction of wave propagation) with high accuracy in considerable range of their values variation. Set task is solved by device for implementation of sea waves parameters measurement method, which contains onshore equipment, TAS, the hemispherical surface of which consists of apertures of m identical EAT, forming an ordered system of parallels and meridians, at that, located in water medium on bottom surface of water area and oriented in specified manner relative to sides of light, EAT are connected through a multichannel controlled switch with shore equipment, consisting of a radiating path, comprising a generator, power amplifier and receiving channel containing channels for processing Doppler information for searching for general direction of propagation of surface wind wave and measurement of parameters of sea waves in modes of normal (inclined) irradiation of section of water-air interface.
EFFECT: technical result of the invention is higher accuracy of measuring parameters of sea disturbance (height, period, length, direction and speed of propagation of wind wave) in a considerable range of change of their values.
