FIELD: measurement technology.
SUBSTANCE: calibrating device has to be pipe-piston assemblage which has initial, intermediate and final position pick-ups of piston- ejector. All pick-ups are connected with secondary device. Number of pulses limited in time by various combinations of moments of pick-ups' reaction is measured within one working cycle of calibration at direct and back run of piston in calibrated part of pipe-line of pipe-piston assemblage. Fractions of total volume of calibrated part are calculated which fractions are limited by various combinations of moments of reaction of pick-ups. Conversion factor of calibrated flowmeter is calculated from sum of combinations of pulses coming from calibrated flowmeter and being stored inside secondary device in relation to corresponding sum of fractions of volume of calibrated part.
EFFECT: reduced calibration time; improved precision of measurement.
