SUBSTANCE: device comprises a calibrated section of a pipeline, a displacement piston moving the calibrated section under action of the metered medium flow, detectors of start and end positions of the displacement piston in the calibrated section of the pipeline, a secondary device that accumulates and performs mathematical processing of the measurement information arriving from the calibrated flow meter, a volume meter, a mass meter in the form of a sequence of pulses limited in time by the moments of actuation of detectors of start and end positions of the displacement piston in the calibrated pipeline section. The device includes additional detectors of the start and end positions of the displacement piston and additional measurement channels of the secondary device, which accumulates and mathematically processes pulse sequences from the flow converter, limited in time by moments of actuation of detectors of start and end positions of the displacement piston. The summary number of detectors of the start and end positions of the displacement piston makes at least five.
EFFECT: reduced time of device operation in process of measurements and increased accuracy of measurement results.
