FIELD: electrical and radio engineering.

SUBSTANCE: proposed contact device has insulating base that mounts contact holders with fixed bimetal contacts of ignition circuit, as well as insulating contact disk provided with step-shaped section which is engageable with central rotary pin and is spring-loaded relative to the latter. Mentioned disk carries movable contact in the form of conducting plate. Disk and conducting plate are provided with slots at points in which fixed bimetal contacts occur when their contact with conducting plate is broken.

EFFECT: ability of suppressing electric arc between contacts and their overheat protection.
