FIELD: production of paper, articles, such as toilet paper.

SUBSTANCE: toilet paper is made in the form of rolled paper web. At least part of paper web is composed of two layers. Web is free from through openings and is made with periodically changing lengthwise size of longitudinal section arranged at right angle with respect to one of two larger surfaces of paper web. At least two web layers have different thickness, with ratio of minimal layer thickness to maximal layer thickness ranging between 0.1 to 0.9999. Toilet paper has increased bacteriological resistance.

EFFECT: reduced production costs and improved quality of paper.
