SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a coreless reel of an absorbent sheet product, a method for manufacture thereof and an application of a coreless reel as toilet paper, domestic towel, hand towel, kitchen towel, wiping paper, cosmetic tissue, handkerchief or sanitary napkin. The coreless reel of an absorbent sheet product is formed from a spirally wound continuous sheet of absorbent material with a first end and a second end. The sheet of absorbent material is wound so as to create an axial hollow opening located in the centre of the relatively coreless reel and extending from one end to the other end of the coreless reel so that the first end is located on the outside of the roll and the second end is located at the axial hollow opening and constitutes no more than 40% of the entire length of the continuous sheet of absorbent material. The second end of the continuous sheet of absorbent material includes a liner composition containing a non-ionic cellulose ether.

EFFECT: technical result is creation of a coreless reel of an absorbent product combining excellent rigidity and resistance to flattening with proper peeling force, sufficient flexibility and elasticity, excellent degradability in water and possibility of use along the entire length.
