FIELD: automotive industry.
SUBSTANCE: cylinder is made of metallic cylinder liner wound with a composite material. The thickness of the composite winding exceeds the thickness of the wall of the metallic liner at least by a factor of three. The ratio of the gas volume at the collapsing pressure to the cylinder mass is determined from the inequality proposed.
EFFECT: increased pressure of the cylinder charge.
