FIELD: electrical engineering; general industrial electric drives.
SUBSTANCE: newly introduced in three-phase induction motor control device are three additional break contacts of running contactor, three current shunts, six resistors, diode, and final element. Supply mains phase leads are connected through make contacts of running contactor and shunts to respective phase leads of stator windings. All resistors are assembled in two groups, three resistors per group. First resistor group is connected to first inner terminals of shunts through diodes connected in parallel opposition and capacitors are connected thereto through break contacts of running contactor. Connected to second inner terminals of shunts are second resistor group and, through make contacts of brake contactor, leads of diode pairs of adjacent phases. Final element is connected between common points of second resistor leads of first and second groups through diode.
EFFECT: enhanced braking reliability, intensity, and efficiency under phase-failure conditions.
