FIELD: electrical engineering. SUBSTANCE: braking device has newly introduced additional four diodes, three resistors, and two capacitors; first phase lead of winding is connected through series-connected break contact of running contactor and second break contact of braking contactor to common point of connection of main and first additional resistors; other lead of first additional resistor is connected to negative plate of main capacitor and through second make contact of braking contactor, to second phase lead of winding; cathode of second main diode is connected to that of first additional diode whose anode is connected through series-connected second resistor, third break contact of braking contactor, and third break contact of running contactor to third phase lead of winding; negative plate of second capacitor is connected through third resistor to second resistor and through make contact, to second phase lead of winding; connected to cathode of main diode and to anode of second thyristor is cathode of second diode whose anode is connected to anode of third diode, midpoint of this connection being connected to positive plate of first capacitor whose negative plate is connected to second phase lead of winding and through first break contact of braking contactor, to cathode of second main and first additional diodes. Cathode of third diode is connected to cathode of fourth diode whose anode is connected to second phase lead of winding.
