FIELD: electrical engineering; squirrel-cage induction motors. SUBSTANCE: braking device for induction motor whose stator winding is connected in delta has DC current supply one of whose output leads is connected to common points of two phase leads of motor stator winding and other lead, to center taps of mentioned phase windings; running and braking contactors; delta-connected capacitors whose common points are connected through running contactor contacts to common points of stator winding phase leads and through diodes, to center taps of mentioned phase leads. EFFECT: improved reliability and intensity of braking. 1 dwg
