FIELD: confectionery industry.
SUBSTANCE: stick (tube) for candy glasses has polymeric body with slot for holding confectionery mass. Body has rough outer surface and is equipped with additional slot and inner cross-shaped partitions for preventing insects from getting inside. Additional slot is offset along axis of tube relative to main slot and is arranged at the side thereof or at diametrically opposite side. Additional slot is (may be) made by partial cutting of wall by breaking-through with following bending inward of body. Method involves melting polymer; extruding it through die; cooling of formed stick (tube); drawing and cutting. In the process of extruding melt, stick (tube) is formed with rough outer surface by applying layer of melted coating material, such as savilene, and by reducing temperature of savilene melt at outlet end of die by 9-10% as compared to nominal temperature. Stick (tube) is cut and simultaneously slot is formed by breaking-through of wall.
EFFECT: reliable fixing of candy glasses owing to joint usage of mechanical contacting of confectionery mass and stick or tube, improved and wider operational capabilities of said stick.
