FIELD: gas and oil-producing industries; production of operating tools for cleaning pipes from old insulation.
SUBSTANCE: the invention is intended for cleaning pipes, the diameter of which is mainly more than 720 mm from the old insulation. The operating tool for cleaning pipes has a mounted in a frame rotor with shafts located on a circumference, arms with a capability of turning with the shafts, cleaning gears and units embraced by a flexible hoop incorporating a compensator, a means of linking and contracting ends of the flexible hoop, flexible members. The compensator of the flexible hoop is made self-contained in the form of a spring, preliminary pressed inside a cylinder-piston group with a force ensuring pressing of the cleaning gear to a pipeline within the limits of 80-110 kgf. The means of linking and contracting ends of the flexible hoop is made in the form of a turnbuckle, which one end is fused to a flexible member by a means of the easily removable pin. At that a fixing holder of the flexible hoop is fastened to the place of location of one of the units. Such design ensures an all mechanisms optimal pressing of 80-100 kgf to the pipeline, that allows to improve quality of cleaning and to increase productivity; it also ensures the operating tool passing through the sleeve fittings and patches without termination of the cleaning process. Due to availability of laminated knives quality and efficiency of cleaning of a film type insulation is also considerably improved; multiply decreased the time necessary for removal of the state of the operating cleaning tools pressed to the pipeline, that is necessary to perform at a changeover of a cleaning tool or dismantle of a flexible hoop. The operating cleaning tool can work at an increased rate of 90-100 revolutions per a minute of the rotor, that also results in increased productivity of cleaning.
EFFECT: the invention ensures improved cleaning and increased productivity, multiply decreased the time necessary for release of the pressed to the pipeline operating cleaning tools at its changeover or dismantling operations.
