FIELD: fuel engineering.
SUBSTANCE: method comprises contacting test gasoline sample with supported indicator, in particular reductant containing thioamides functions, capable of reacting with lead to form a colored compound. Advantageously, reductant is thiourea or 4-phenylthiosemicarbazide, or yet thiosemicarbazone, and inert filler is glass. Indicator composition is constituted by supported indicator (70-80 wt %) and inert filler. Preparation of supported indicator consists in that above-defined reductant is non-covalently immobilized on alumogel after contact of aqueous solution of the former with the latter for 40-60 min under static conditions.
EFFECT: increased determination accuracy.
