DRY CUTTING APPARATUS Russian patent published in 2005 - IPC

Abstract RU 2250158 C2

FIELD: apparatuses for cooling cutting zone in metal cutting machine tool.

SUBSTANCE: apparatus includes controlled voltage pickup connected with nozzle of air conduit of ionizing device. Nozzle is made with possibility of regulating outlet flow. In body of nozzle inner air conduit is placed; said conduit has large number of through openings arranged randomly along its axis. Air conduit serves as capacitor whose capacitance and inductance are selected according to condition of nozzle operation in pulsating mode.

EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of cooling, lowered contamination degree of working zone.
