COOKING ATTACHMENT FOR SLICING PRODUCTS (VARIANTS) Russian patent published in 2005 - IPC

FIELD: attachment for slicing or cutting by pieces such products as fruits, vegetables and so on in kitchen.

SUBSTANCE: attachment includes housing, guiding surface for reciprocation motion of sliced product on it; cutter designed for cutting product and shifted relative to guiding surface. It allows to cut piece or slice from product moving on guiding surface in direction of slicing towards cutter. Shifting value between cutter and guiding surface is equal to thickness of slices. Attachment has changeable insert for changing thickness of slices. According to first variant said insert is wholly placed in housing with possibility of motion in it and with possibility of fixation of in different positions in said housing. According to second variant of invention insert may be moved in slicing direction relative to mounting space in housing of attachment. Inclined guiding portions are provided on insert and (or) in space for mounting insert. In order to control thickness of slices or pieces, said portions provide forced motion of insert in direction normal relative to slicing direction when insert moves in slicing direction.

EFFECT: simplified design of easy-to-use attachment.
